From Walking to Not Walking

Two falls in April left my paralyzed in the legs – not entirely paralyzed but my legs are too weak to support me and allow me to walk. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital. Losing mobility under an army of medical staff was humbling but being so well taken care of was comforting. They allowed David to stay and gave him a cot in my hospital room. He is list as official caregiver in the Banner database

They sent me home after 2 weeks. It feels good to be st home even though I feel isolated from medical care again.

While hospitalized I underwent more radiation. The cause of the falls had been the invasion by the cancer of T2 and T8, as I mentioned in a previous post.

After 10 days at home, my mobility has not improved but I find it a little easier to get up and down and move around with a walker.
